Letter from the President

Welcome to the Theta Psi Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi!

We’re so happy you're here and hope you find everything you’re looking for as you explore our website.

Since Alpha Omicron Pi was founded on January 2, 1897, our sisterhood has grown into the strong, ambitious, and supportive chapter we are today at the University of Toledo. We are delighted to showcase a few recent accomplishments from our sisters, whose performance continues to set a high standard.

At the University of Toledo Awards, Theta Psi proudly earned four major awards:

Chapter of the Year
Chapter Advisor of the Year - Hannah Posey
Chapter President of the Year - Sammy Carrow
Sorority Woman of the Year: Belle Fahey

Our sisters also received individual university-wide honors:

Belle Fahey received the prestigious Tower of Excellence Award, recognizing her outstanding accomplishments both in and out of the classroom.

Ashley Westgate received the Outstanding Student in Political Science Award.

Jordan Tracey was honored with the Dr. Ed Bollinger Award for being the top student in the Constitutional Law course series.

At Alpha Omicron Pi’s International Convention, our chapter was awarded the Chapter of Excellence Award, along with recognition for inspiring Ambition in Executive Leadership, Operations, and Membership Experience.

As we look ahead to 2026, our chapter is excited to continue growing. We are committed to academic improvement, strengthening our sisterhood, engaging in meaningful service, and making a positive impact on campus and beyond. This semester will be full of excitement as we welcome new sisters through recruitment and continue our philanthropic work.

Our national philanthropy, the Arthritis Foundation, an organization we are incredibly proud of and hold near and dear to our hearts, is a cause we continually support. We also support Sisters for Soldiers, another meaningful foundation, particularly because some of our very own Theta Psi sisters currently serve!

As Chapter President, my goal is to make this the best year yet for every one of our sisters. I strive to lead with kindness, encouragement, and ambition, helping each member grow into the best version of herself. Our chapter wouldn't be where it is today without the incredible women who came before us and those who stand beside us now.

Thank you for visiting our site and learning more about Alpha Omicron Pi. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!

With love and ambition,
Jamison Barnes
